10 Years Together!
Dave and I met on July 18, 1998 at Have a Nice Day Cafe in Norfolk, Virginia. We were immediately inseparable! Four months later, I moved to Charleston with him while he finished school at the College of Charleston. And four months after that we moved back to Norfolk where I began my teaching career and Dave began working for FM99 WNOR/106.9 The FOX. We eloped on May 20, 2000, and five years later we renewed our vows in front of our family and a few close friends. During our eight years of marriage we have owned 5 houses! Dave has switched careers twice. He left radio to teach and he left teaching to go to law school. He'll begin his second year next month. Meanwhile, I am on an extended leave of absence from teaching to be a stay-at-home mommy to our two wonderful, little blessings ---Dylan and Kendall!
~To celebrate, my mom watched the kids and we went out to a rare "just the two of us" dinner!

Dave graduated from Regent University in 2007 with a Masters in Special Education

Dylan's New Haircut & Kendall Sits Up
Today was a big day for Dylan and Kendall. Baby Girl was able to sit up without an assist! We are so proud of her. Dylan decided this morning that he wanted to get a "Rock Star" haircut. He said, "Mommy, I want to have my hair styled....like a ROCK STAR!"

Johnson Family Vacation in Myrtle Beach
We have had a wonderful time visiting with everybody this week at Gran J and Grandpa's beach house. Dave had to do a lot of driving this week because he's in the middle of his Army JAG internship at Fort Eustis in Newport News, Virginia. He drove Dylan, Kendall, and me down here last Saturday then had to drive back to Virginia Beach the next day. Thanks to the holiday he had off Thursday and today, so he was able to come back to the beach on Wednesday night. He said that he really didn't mind all that driving by himself because without me and the kids in the car he was able to shave 2 hours off the trip! It was the first time that we got to visit with Rob since last Christmas!!! Dylan was so excited to see him. Esther and I had fun dressing Kendall and Ashley alike. Someone walking by on the beach even asked if they were twins. The babies loved getting to visit with Maw Maw and Ann too. So far I have taken about 80 pictures, so I've tried my best to only pick out the best to share.
