Dylan's 8th Birthday Bash

This year Dylan decided to have a Nerf gun theme party and just invite all boys. Dave and I thought that would be great because we could set up targets in the backyard and most of the time the kids would just run around outside. We had planned for them to just come inside for cake and ice cream. As the party date neared, we realized that with a high temperate of 29 degrees we would have to host the entire party in the house. So, for 90 minutes we had 12 energetic boys in party mode in our house. We were able to pull it off, but I think that next year we will just take Dylan and a couple of his friends out to a movie!

Date Night

Dave and I enjoyed a date night with good friends at PF Changs tonight. It was probably the last time that we will see Ann Dove and Drew before baby Ainsley arrives! Thanks Mom and Dad for watching the kids so that we could enjoy a much needed night out. And thank you to Drew for introducing me to mongolian beef! YUM! :)

Family Skating Night

Dylan and Kendall had a great time a our church's family skate night last weekend. It was Kendall's first time on skates, so I figured that she'd be done after about 30 minutes. She lasted the entire 90 minutes and loved it!
