Water Park Fun at Busch Gardens

Last weekend we went to the Sesame Street water play area at Busch Gardens. We expected that Dylan would want to play in the water, so he was dressed appropriately for the event; however, we had no idea that Kendall was going to get so into it. Thank goodness, I pack that diaper bag well, and brought a change of clothes for her. I only wish that I had worn flip flops...my socks and shoes were soggy, wet the rest of the day.

Goin' for it....
and lovin' it!

Dylan Has Returned from the Outback

Last week Dylan took the Boomarang Express to Vacation Bible School. It was an Australian theme, so they decorated hats appropriate for the Outback and all kinds of musical instruments including a didjeridoo. He had a lot of fun! Next month he will be attending Vacation Bible School at our home church, so be on the look out for another post entitled "Rock the Dock".
Dylan made a fishing rod after learning the story of Peter. Dylan says that he would like to be a Fisher of Men!

A Very Beachy Father's Day!

We spent Father's Day weekend with Gran J and Grandpa in Myrtle Beach. The kids love playing on the beach and in the water.

End of the Year Class Picnic

Dylan's class had an end of the year picnic at the park yesterday. The kids all had so much fun! Kendall went along and a good time too. I can not believe that my baby boy is a rising FIRST GRADER! Where does the time go?

Weekend Fun on the Eastern Shore

This past weekend we went to Cherrystone Campground on the Eastern Shore. We had a great time playing in the water park, riding the paddle boats, playing putt putt golf, and even dancing and doing some karaoke. That's right...this isn't your traditional kind of camping out! It is actually called The Cherrystone Resort Campground.

Dave sang "Chicken Fried" while Dylan did the chicken dance.

Kendall danced non-stop for about an hour!

Doesn't she look like a mini version of a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader?

Dave and Dylan did the "Cha Cha" line dance.

Play Time at the Park

Nana and I got our exercise today by walking the kids to the park. Dylan and Kendall had the whole playground to themselves, until Paw Paw showed up on his bicycle with nice, cold, liquid refreshments. With no other kids around to run her over, Kendall enjoyed being able to roam all over the playground.

We call this the "kissing tree". Do you see the two lips smooching?

Kendall's Chores

Kendall certainly does make a mess in the kitchen from time to time, but the good news is she doesn't mind cleaning up at all!
