Happy New Year

We spent a couple of days in Myrtle Beach to ring in the new year, and the weather was nice enough to play at the beach some. Once Kendall and I left Dylan and Dave at the beach for some "boys" time, they decided that the weather was so nice that it would be a good idea to play in the water! (Dylan is now just about over his sinus infection.) The bargain hunter in me really had fun shopping all of the "additional off" sales at the Tanger Outlets. Dylan spent most of his Christmas money at KB Toys which was having a 75% off sale, as they are going out of business. We also used the down time to watch the old Kenny Rogers Gambler movies with Dylan. He LOVED them and now wants to be a gambler when he grows up and travel the world! :) Happy New Year!

Our Christmas in Greensboro

We sure did enjoy getting to spend time with our family in Greensboro. Unfortunately, Ashley was very sick, so I could not take any pictures of Dylan and Kendall with their cousin which was really sad because it was the girls' first Christmas. I was happy when we left that at least Dylan and Kendall had not gotten sick, but that happiness ended yesterday. Dylan is on his first z-pack for a sinus infection, and Kendall has a stomach flu/cold/cough. :(

There are a lot of pictures here, but I had a hard time narrowing it down bc there were so many good ones.

Dylan's Gingerbread House was....

beautiful and....

yummy!!!

Dylan posing in his new pajamas from Gran J and Grandpa. He styled his hair himself with the gel that Nana and Paw Paw game him. I asked him how he did such a good styling job on his own and his answer was,
"I used the whole tube."

Passing out hugs and kisses...

Ashley was feeling good here

Since Rob and Esther won't see Dylan for his birthday they gave him his present early. Dylan LOVES his new sword and Batman dart gun! Thanks Uncle Rob and Aunt Esther!

Our Virginia Beach Christmas

Christmas morning was even more exciting in the Johnson house than usual because it was our first Christmas with not just one but two children! Kendall seemed to really enjoy her first Christmas. There are still more pictures to come from our Greensboro Christmas.

Dylan finally awoke around 8am
Kendall loved the Inside/Outside play house that Santa brought her

Dylan was thrilled that Santa remembered he wanted a basketball goal and basketball too!!!

We went to Nana and Paw Paw's house for lunch
Kendall was tickled over her new toys

She clapped for her new piano that she's been wanting ever since she started playing with Ava and Sadie's

Dylan is such a good big brother. He made sure that he showed her how to play with all of her new toys.
Check back later for another blog post of our Greensboro Christmas
